This Privacy Policy explains how Nurse Dojo LLC (“we”, “us”), which operates CRNA Compass at crnacompass.com, collects, uses and protects your information.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name and email address when you create an account.
- Your progress and inputs: what you enter into our tools, such as your Readiness Score answers, roadmap progress, tracked programs, shadow log entries, interview ratings, practice stories, statement drafts, game results and waypoints. This is stored with your account so it follows you across devices.
- Purchase information: if you buy a plan, payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We receive confirmation of your purchase and limited billing details. We never see or store your full card number.
- Email subscription data: if you join our email list, your name, email and subscriber activity (such as opens and clicks) are handled by our email provider, Kit.
- Reports you send: if you use “Report outdated info”, we store your message and, if you are logged in, your email address.
- Technical data: like most websites, our host records basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and performance.
If you use our tools without an account, your progress is saved only in your own browser’s local storage on that device.
How we use your information
- To provide the tools and save your progress
- To process purchases and manage memberships
- To send emails you signed up for, including account and purchase emails
- To improve the site, fix problems and keep it secure
- To respond to your questions and reports
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed: our web host (Kinsta), our payment processor (Stripe), our email provider (Kit) and Google Fonts (which receives your IP address when fonts load). We may also disclose information if required by law.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies to keep you logged in and to run the site. Some tools use your browser’s local storage to save progress on your device. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.
Your choices
- Email: unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- Access, correction or deletion: email support@crnacompass.com and we will help you see, correct or delete your account and data.
- Residents of certain states or countries may have additional rights under local law. Contact us and we will honor them.
Data security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. We keep your data while your account is active and delete it on request, except where we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons.
Children
CRNA Compass is intended for licensed nurses and nursing students age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
